Public Meetings
Public Meetings, Round #1 — November 17 & 18, 2014
The purpose of these initial workshops was to share the goals of the study and to listen to your ideas regarding local issues, concerns, and your vision for these crossings. The proposed alternatives will be developed based on the input you and your neighbors provide at these meetings. A PDF of the take-home flyer with project area map is linked below.

Public Meetings, Round #2 — March 18, 2015
Based on the input received at the first round of public meetings, a range of alternatives was developed to address the identified needs. Potential crossing closures were considered, and several new crossings and roadway network improvements have been proposed to accommodate the shift in traffic patterns. In addition, grade separation (bridging the road over the railroad or building an underpass under the railroad) has been studied at a number of crossings. Materials from the meeting are on the Study Info page.
Public Hearing and Outreach — April 20, 2016
The study findings were presented to the Raleigh City Council, Cary Town Council, and CAMPO Executive Board in April 2016. These groups agreed to accept the study.
